Then, take the wooden handle and slide it over the screw. Make sure that the handle is flush with the pan, and tighten the screw until it is snug.

Remember to always exercise caution when working with hot surfaces and cookware. Happy cooking!
]]>No matter what, you get a unique heating effect with both the 7 kW and 12 kW Gas stove and Wok Burners. They are two of the most powerful Gas Stoves on the market. You must get a gas stove with a high heating effect when you want to grill and not boil food.
With a 12 kW Gas Stove, you get lots of power – and you can always turn it down. The 5 kW extra, you get with a 12 kW Gas Stove rather than a 7 kW Gas Stove, is useful if you want to use it for something else than wok/the big wok pan. For instance, if you want a big pot of water or soup to boil quickly.
We use a HOT WOK 12 kW PROFESSIONAL gas stove when we cook for more than 4 people at a time (for 2-4 people vi use the Silver Line model with 4,5 kW and the small wok pan). That is also useful as a Gas Stove indoors.
A HOT WOK gas stove with 12 kW and the big 35 cm wok pan just go well together. The gas stove does not care if it’s a bit windy and can keep the heat on the wok pan etc. The 7 kW gas stove needs to work a bit of overtime – but can in principle do the work.
To compare all this with kW, effect, etc. we can explain how your normal stove performs – induction/ceramic: 2,2 ~ 2,4 kW.
The secret to make great wok recipes is the heat and the frying. The water should be sautéed away and will give the ingredients a very different taste than by boiling them.
The price is not that different. Therefore, we recommend you choose the 12 kW gas stove even though the 7 kW could be enough. Our sale statistics show that most people choose the 12 kW gas stove – but then again, we also sell a lot of the 7 kW gas stoves and Wok Burner.
]]>Has your HOT WOK gas stove gotten rust or grease stains? Then we have a very simple trick: use some cooking oil. It can be sunflower oil or peanut oil – whatever you normally use for cooking.
Take a couple of pieces of paper towel and put the oil on it. Wipe the gas stove on all surfaces with the paper. You would quickly be able to see how far along you are and where you still need to wipe. After 5-10 minutes you can wipe the oil off with some clean paper towels and the gas stove should be clean and shiny again – without being greasy and transferable. If it isn’t you can wipe it with clean paper towels again.
Even though you treat your gas stove with some kind of surface treatment, we still recommend that you take the gas stove inside a dry room, shed, or likewise, where the stove won’t be exposed to the changing weather and temperatures.
]]>Here's a little trick to make it look "like new" again.
Wipe the surface well with a cloth wrung out in warm water and dish soap.
Once the countertop is dry, spray vinyl cleaner all over the surface.
Wipe afterward with a kitchen roll.
If it doesn't cover enough the first time or you still experience a few dull areas, spray again and wipe again.
Now you're done and have a nice shiny TOP LINE Table again.
In this example, we use a normal vinyl cleaner for matt surfaces when cleaning a car.
]]>It is important that the burner ring has the correct location.
1. It is important that the large burner ring is placed correctly with BEST by 9.00 o’clock.
2. The lower aluminum ring is placed so that the two pins
point up towards 12.00 o’clock.
Remove the flamingo and other transport protection from the box.
Pay attention to many small parts and the white box with parts for your HOT WOK Silver Line
Lift off the holder of the dustpan and then lift off the aluminium top ring.
Again remove safety packaging and other plastic.
You can now lift your HOT WOK Silver Line out of the box.
Now take the outer burner ring and the inner burner ring out of the small white box.
Be aware that there is a battery at the end of your HOT WOK Silver Line. Here you need to remove the foil and reinsert the battery. The battery is used for the Pitzo ignition
Now first fit the aluminium top ring.
Here it is important that the placement is correct. Note the setup here in the video and always check with the user manual. If this top ring is not mounted correctly your Silver Line will not turn on.
Mount the roaster burner ring and the inner burner ring on the aluminium top ring.
It is extremely important that you fit these correctly from the pitzo igniter as well as the gas supply.
You can see that the burner ring comes all the way down and lies flat on the aluminum top when properly mounted. Note in the video that the small extra brass marking out from the pitzo igniter.
Next, install the inner burner ring and make sure it lies correctly on the entire surface.
Finally fit the cast iron bracket and now you are ready to fit your gas supply.
The Silverline model can be used on large gas cylinders and on the small gas cylinders.
It can vary in which type of Gas Regulator you need.
For questions, inspiration or customer service, please write to hotwok@hotwok.com
There are many different regulators.
Always remember to check which one fits your cylinder or standard in the country. You are always welcome to email us at hotwok@hotwok.com for help.

You need to make sure the combination of oxygen and gas is just right.
First, make sure the screws are only just pressed into the thread. Check all three bolts.
Then open the gas on the valve and light the flames with a lighter or a match.
Then tighten the bolts to block the oxygen. The less oxygen the smaller the flame. The flames should preferably be blue with a very small yellow color at the top.
If you tighten the bolts too much, the flames will be too small. The gas comes out from under the burner and thus makes a roaring sound. Immediately turn off the valves and open the bolts again. Each gas burner is set differently as the pressure in valves, regulators, and gas cylinders can be different.
The burners on your HOT WOK must be set up with the most correct air-gas combination. When the gas burner is set correctly, you will be able to see a uniform and specific flame pattern. The top of the flame can alternate in the yellow tones and the rest of the flame can alternate from light blue to dark blue.
If the flame pattern of the HOT WOK gas burner is irregular, check the following:

Usage for Paella Pan from HOT WOK:
since the Hot Wok gas burners can generate up to 4.5 kW, 7 kW and 12 kW in heating effect, it is important to use oil with a high flash point. We therefore recommend that you see peanut oil or sunflower seed oil.
After preparation, your HOT WOK Paella Pan will have changed colour from shiny metal to a darker nuance. This is normal and indication that preparation has been done correctly.
Over time, the HOT WOK Paella Pan will become even darker.
The dark layer acts as a non-stick surface. Your HOT WOK Paella Pan can easily keep cooked food warm.
Leave the HOT WOK Paella Pan on the gasstove or place it on a dish mat.
Be aware that the HOT WOK Paella Pan is still very hot when serving.
We hope that you will enjoy your HOT WOK Wok pan.

Before using the wok pan, clean it thoroughly with warm water and a soft sponge.
Wipe the wok pan thoroughly afterwards.
After preparation, the inside of the wok pan will have changed colour from shiny metal to a dark shade. This is normal and only a sign that the wok pan has been properly prepared. Over time the wok pan will darken.
The black coating acts as a non-stick surface. The wok pan can easily keep food warm after cooking, so either leave the wok pan on the gas burner or serve the food directly in the wok pan on a plate. Make sure the wok pan is still hot when serving.
We hope you enjoy your Hot Wok wok pan.

Here's a guide to using your gas flame and your new wok pan for the first time.
Once you have unpacked your HOT WOK.
- Pour the equivalent of 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil into the wok pan
- Start your wok burner on full heat. Be careful with 12 kW burners though as they are very powerful. DO NOT leave the wok when the oil is heating up
- Leave the wok over the flames until you can see the wok pan turning light brown at the bottom.
- Start to turn the wok pan over the flames. Right up to the edges. Quietly until the brown color comes where the hot oil is.
- Once you have gone around the wok pan with the oil and the wok pan is light brown in most places, take the wok pan off the gas flame and pour out the oil.
- Wipe the wok pan with kitchen roll
- Start over and do this 3 times.
- You are now ready to make super delicious wok food
Remember NEVER to clean your wok pan in soapy/sulphur water.
Always clean the wok pan only in plain water and wipe with a cloth.
The wok pan will turn completely black over time. It doesn't matter - it adds flavour and the wok pan will last "forever" with the above maintenance

IMPORTANT!
Should flames occur in the oil in the wok due to the high heat, NEVER extinguish the flames with water. Use a fire blanket or something else that can quickly smother the fire.
Note that there is a difference between outdoor gas burners and indoor gas burners. HOT WOK Professional and HOT WOK Original are both gas fires that may only be used outdoors. HOT WOK Silverline gas burners may be used as indoor and outdoor gas burners.
Besides the Silverline gas fire can be used both indoors and outdoors, you can also connect the small 450 gr. gas cans to this gas fire.
]]>Wash the grill pan in hot water
Grease the grill pan with a neutral cooking oil
Use either a brush or kitchen roll. Then light your gas fire with the grill pan / cast iron in.
Heat the grill pan at a minimum of 200-230° C for a good hour
If necessary, apply oil a few extra times. This will make the surface easier to remove food and dirt, and also make the grate more resistant to rust.
Repeat at regular intervals.
You can use any neutral cooking oil, so it's best to avoid expensive olive oil, etc. It is not recommended to coat the cast iron with flavoured oils, such as sesame oil.
]]>By following the instructions for use and maintenance of your HOW WOK Silverline, you will extend the life of your gas burner, but it is also important to note that failure to follow these instructions will void the warranty.
Which oil should I choose for a HOT WOK gas heater?
The gas burner generates up to 4.5 kW of heat output. Therefore, it is important to use oil with a high flash point. We recommend peanut oil or sunflower oil. Remember that not much oil is needed when cooking with a HOT WOK gas burner.
How to light and regulate the heat on the HOT WOK Silverline:
The HOT WOK Silverline has piezo-electronic ignition and can therefore be lit without matches or similar. It also has a built-in gas switch that automatically shuts off the gas if the flames go out.
Ignition: turn the knob to the OFF position and press the knob down while turning it to the ON position
Hold the button down until the gas flare ignites. During ignition, a click sound is heard from the electronic ignition.
Heat control: turn the knob slowly to obtain the desired heat
When the knob is turned to the ON position, the gas/heat is turned all the way up.
When the knob is turned past the ON position, the flames in the outer gas ring are regulated. The longer the knob is turned, the weaker the flames become.
To achieve the high temperatures required for wok cooking, we recommend cooking at maximum temperature. This will preserve the flavour and nutritional properties of the food.
Turn off: when the knob is turned to the OFF position, the gas is turned off and the flames are extinguished.
Close the regulator.
Maintenance of the gas flare after use:
Wipe the gas flare with a damp cloth
Some foods may leave discoloration if left too long.
Wipe with a dry cloth
Check that the holes in the gas rings are not blocked
Remove stubborn food from the pan with a soft sponge or nylon brush
NOTE! Never use a wire brush or a hard sponge.
Wipe the pan thoroughly after cleaning
Maintain the HOT WOK Silverline gas hob surface by lubricating it with steel oil
This keeps the gas flame looking good and provides a protective surface that makes it easier to clean.
Storing the gas flare:
After using and cooling the gas flare, cover it and store it in a dry place. Store the flare in the original HOT WOK storage bag when not in use for long periods of time. This prevents, among other things, the holes in the gas rings from clogging. The storage bag is ideal for storing and transporting HOT WOK gas burners.
Remove the battery when the HOT WOK gas burner is not used for a long time!
